Helping Women Like You With Online Therapy

Hi, I’m Sonia Diaz-Ebadi, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and a trauma survivor. I no longer feel like a victim, and I believe I can help you find your own path to sense making, healing and resolution.

Today, I’m thriving and living a good, full, love-filled, super challenging (in a good way) life. I continue to do the work to heal my pain because I know that it’s a life-long process.

In my own life, I’ve learned some things that can be beneficial to you on your own healing journey. For one, I’ve dealt with my own deep pain, and I’m not afraid of yours. I’ll hold space for you to explore your feelings without judgment. My goal is for you to feel safe first and foremost, and to tell your truth when you’re ready.

The primary way that I help is by establishing rapport, trust, alliance, and attunement with you. It’s these simple human touches that make the difference and create safety for you to own your truth. Over the last 15 years, I’ve seen a wide range of issues in my practice. So, I’m here to provide the container for your healing process to occur.

If you’re ready to take control over your life, get to the root of your trauma, and break free from your inner limits, I’d love to help you on your healing journey.

What My Clients Say

“Sonia makes it safe to show up week after week and do the hard work of healing from trauma. Healing can be very lonely, but working with her I never felt alone. When you collaborate with Sonia, you have the potential to save your own life.”

“Working with Sonia was a transformative experience. She guided me through postpartum depression. Connected me with a great psychiatrist. The best I’ve ever known. I went on a retreat. I learned what self care looked like. Her overall supportive presence and guidance helped me become me. I now live a life full of creativity and love. A life I’m proud to call mine. Thank you Sonia.”

“If you’re nervous about seeing a therapist for the first time, or if you’ve ever had a therapist who wasn’t the right “fit,” I urge you to contact Sonia Diaz-Ebadi, LMFT. Sonia is a warm and compassionate person who genuinely cares about her clients. She provides a space that feels safe – where you will be heard and supported without judgment. I highly recommend her.”

K.M., therapist

“For as long as I can remember, I was my parents’ daughter, my husband’s wife, and my children’s mom. I was the organizer, facilitator, cheerleader, peacemaker and apologizer. It was all fine…until it wasn’t. I thought I was fine…but I wasn’t. So for the first time in over three decades, I chose to care for someone else. I chose me. Sonia helped me reclaim my life. Now she’s helping me as I create a new one – on my terms.”

K.C., therapy client

“Before I met Sonia, I noticed that simple tasks were becoming overwhelming. I was struggling to do things I had done hundreds of times before. It felt like I was constantly trying to force a square peg into a round hole. The more I pushed, the more frustrated and exhausted I became. Sonia didn’t offer me a bag of round pegs; instead, she gave me the tools I needed to chip away the hard edges.”
